Traditionally, our society organizes a festive gathering on the first Tuesday in December, in lieu of a general meeting with a guest speaker. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, the structure of this event is largely dependent on the creativity, time and energy contributed by the organizing committee, which changes from year-to-year.  As a result, and discounting the influence of the pandemic, some years our society hosts lavish, gala dinner events (as we did in 2024 and 2025); other years we host cocktail receptions with hors d' oeuvres; and sometimes we enjoy a modified general meeting with a light meal, festive music, and a holiday centerpiece demonstration.

Our 2026 Holiday Celebration will be held on December 1, 2026 at the McConaghy Centre (save the date).
The Organizing Committee is planning an informal event for our members and their guests. Details will be published later this summer, with tickets going on sale September 1st.
